The Hyder Index is a monthly measure of the Change-Response Gap: the distance between how fast an industry is changing and how effectively companies in that industry are responding. Created by entrepreneur and strategist Shama Hyder, the index tracks 15 industries using six predictive signals. A score of 50 means change and response are even. The higher the score, the wider the gap, and the larger the unclaimed opportunity for companies willing to act.
